ABOUT THE ARTIST

Liz was born in Kenora, Ontario but has spent the majority of her life in Western Canada.  After 30 years in the advertising business, she has retired and is happily pursuing her love of painting.

Liz’s work is primarily landscapes and she is drawn in particular to how light affects the mood and texture of a landscape in any season. An avid hiker, Liz is always on the lookout for a compelling scene that nature so generously offers.

Liz resides in Vernon, BC and is a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, and Okanagan Artists of Canada.  She participates annually in many FCA Juried shows.
